The Dryfesdale Hotel in Lockerbie presents design implications to consider in order to meet updated guidelines from Best Western on what was within their acceptable branding policy – this concerns fonts, links, logo placement, colour schemes, required text and content.
A WordPress child theme based on twentyeleven was devised and tested primarily for browser display to achieve this but opened up further areas for development that will need addressed particularly for effective display on mobile devices.
The design of the live site may need reviewed in light of this.
The Google account has been reclaimed so Places, Webmaster Tools, Adwords and Analytics data are now accessible again.
Interestingly there are 3 Facebook Pages for the Dryfesdale Hotel, 2 of which are now under known management with a view to merging them.
